Mission:
At Home Humanitarian is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on socially integrating and economically empowering refugees and other immigrants while building tolerance and understanding throughout their new communities. Our core work focuses on mentor matching, shared experiences, and partnerships.

Ward Connection:
Kelly McBride: I’ve been working with At Home Humanitarian since 2016 and it is a wonderful program to be a part of. The goal of the organization is to help refugees become a part of their new community. It offers retreats to help them feel community and have fun getting to know people around them. I loved attending these retreats because I was able to talk with people about their situations, good and bad. They also look for volunteers to commit to a year to help an assigned family with tutoring.
